Here is my simulation process.I intended to create a candy sliced simulation, because my story happend in candy factory that produces candies. So, I want to create assembly line to produce candies. First step is that slice a complete candy piece to multiple pieces and assembly line carry these sliced pieces to other producing machine. Also is the first step to produce candies, turn a candies material to some smaller pieces.

I created a cube in Cinema 4D firstly, then added a soft simulation body to it and assigned floor with a collider body. The cube just fall to the floor without any elastic force.

Then I tried to add more segments and test it, I found the more segments the squisher it gets. But when I fix the problem with the elastic force, the cube just broken during fall to the floor.

The reason is dynamic step frame is too low, then I just increased it to the 10. Then the cube body look more smooth.

After that, I should create a cube container, when I play the simulation, the soft cibe just stuck in the container and won't fall to the floor. I checked everything and try to adjust some parameter, then I found some important thing are ignored. Shell margin (collision tab) must be "0" and -shell object must be open from the back side too otherwise pusher object does not work.

Then I used cloner operatator to create multiple colliders and cubes. After that, I used boole operator for masking new cube object, then the back cube looks like be sliced to four pieces.

Then I created an assembly animation using rectangle spline and cloner generator, I wanted to make sliced pieces been carried by that. But these soft cubes cannot touch the convertor line. Then I add a collider body to the belt, and adjusted bounce and friction. Then it works.

This video is a short piece to show my soft body process.
